The GEAP Seminar Series
We have a long-standing tradition of hosting a seminar series, which provides a platform for members and guests of the UF community to present experiences and research relevant to gender, environment, agriculture and participation at the local and international level.

The MLK Workshop
Every year, we offer a one-day training course on gender analysis co-sponsored by the GEAP and TCD (Tropical Conservation and Development) to commemorate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. In the workshop, we explore why gender is an important consideration in our work regardless of the discipline, focus, or area of interest.

The GEAP Course
Students are introduced to the complexities of the developing world and the theoretical frameworks from which linkages between countries, economies, politics, and local livelihoods are made. The GEAP course is part of the Certificate of Gender and Development curriculum offered through the Center for Women’s Studies and Gender Research.

More Teaching and Training Opportunities
We also offer faculty assistance in curriculum development, guest lectures, and other technical and informational services.
